The Mobile phone or wireless generations (G) generally change of the service Nature . compatible transmission & non-backwards technology, and new frequency bands. Every New generations had appeared after every ten years since1981 when the first move analog (1G) was invent to digital (2G) transmission in 1992. This was followed more advance and modern by 3G mulch-media supported,its touch the peak with the supports of 200 kbit/s. 2011 is called the Revolutionary year because of 4G technology invention ,
Four famous generation of Mobile phone or hand sets are available in market from 1980 to till now .

What is 1G?


1G the first Mobile phone was invent 1980 fist time & that was analog phone which was called “Brick Phone” & “Bag Phone “. That Cell phone was start 1 G technology and called first generation, wireless analog Phone. that was used that time in some advance countess’s elite class people law enforcement agencies, and Armed forces. That technology was convert soon in 2 G in 1990.

What is 2G?


2G  technology had started in early in 1992 . 1 g analog  have fully replace into 2 G digital  network. that was  first time when 2 G commercial network has been began  on global system   for mobile Communications, or GSM, standard. 2G on GSM standards used  commercial practice in 1991 by Radiolinja, a Finnish GSM operator which was founded on September 19, 1988. Radiolinja ( Elisa), 2G or  GSM protocol also utilizes Different  other digital protocols,  with  CDMA, TDMA, iDEN and PDC. GSM is based on TDMA.

What is 3G?

At the end of 20th century  2 G was convert in 3 G Technology. that is a new invention of 21st  century  especially  in mobile phone networks. 3 G suspend 2 G technology  and step in 4G technology for advance ideas.  3G systems had established through ITU’s project on International Mobile Telecommunications 2000 (IMT-2000).

3G technologies have able to  fast data transmission , Advance  network capacity and great network services. In May 2001, NTT DoCoMo (Japan) launched the first per-commercial 3G network – branded as FOMA. After the  first per-commercial launch, NTT DoCoMo again made history on October 1, 2001, when they lunched  first commercial 3G in Japan.

Now UMTS-HSPA is  leading 3G technology in the world.  UMTS-HSPA and LTE 3G technologies are expected to  3.9 billion global subscriptions, compared to 569 million CDMA EV-DO subscriptions and 59 million WiMAX subscriptions.

What is 4G?


4G is the most advance technology used  in modern world. Fourth generation of mobile wireless services which was  defined by the ITU and its Radio communication Sector (ITU-R) established globally accepted definition in IMT- Advanced.
The ITU has developed technology arcading to  requirements  which is the coming next generation wireless technology. An IMT- Advanced cellular system following requirements.  must fulfill .
  • Based on switched network all-IP packet
  • High  data rates  approximately 100 Mbit/s for high mobility and  approximately 1 Gbps for low mobility
  • Dynamically share and use of network resources for  supporting  more simultaneous cell per user
  • High link spectrum performance of 15 bit/s/Hz in the down-link, and 6.75 bit/s/Hz in the up link
  • System spectrum performance of up to 3 bit/s/Hz/cell in the down link and 2.25 bit/s/Hz/cell for indoor usage
  • An Ability to offer services of  high quality for coming generation multimedia support
